Thank you so much to everyone who took part in prompting and filling for the second round of the tokusatsu ficathon! Prompting for this round is now closed, but you are still free to fill as you wish. It's encouraged as well, there's so many awesome prompts to pick from!

Here is a list of fills that were created during the March 1st to May 31st period. These are listed in the chronological order of prompts as when they were posted.

Tokusatsu Ficathon Round 2!

Welcome to the second round of the tokusatsu ficathon! This is a ficathon welcome to all tokusatsu series and films. From Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Ultraman, Metal Heroes, Kaiju, and even the most obscure Showa-Era toku out there you can think of. If it's in the tokusatsu genre, it's welcome here!

This round will run from March 1st to May 31st. After May 31st the prompting period will be over, but you are still welcome to fill any prompts that have been left here during the round after that.

6/1/25: Prompting is now closed. Though as previously stated you can still fill any of these prompts whenever you'd like. It's encouraged!

There will be more rounds in the future, subscribe to the community to stay updated when future information is posted. Future rounds for this event will now happen here in this community, instead of on my personal journal which is where the first round happened.

Rules and Information Rundown:

Fills must be 100 words at minimum. There is no maximum word count.

Gen, Slash, Femslash, M/F, Poly, Ships with NB characters, and more are all welcome! Any Series/Ship/Character prompts are also welcomed.

Any rating is also welcome! Because all ratings are welcomed, this event is 18+ only. Participants must be over 18 years of age regardless of what they will write. If you are found to be under 18, you will be banned.

You can fill directly in the comments, or post your fills directly elsewhere (Can be on Dreamwidth, Ao3, FFN, Tumblr, Your Site, SquidgeWorld, etc) and link to them in your comment. There is an Ao3 Collection and other OTW-Archive site collections linked below as well for direct posting + crossposting.

Prompting crossovers is also welcome. The only thing is each series/film involved must all be part of the tokusatsu genre.

Your fills for this ficathon can be combined with other challenges/event(s)! As long as the other challenge/event(s) in question allow you to do that. If they do, feel free!

Anon comments are on, so you are not required to have a Dreamwidth account to take part in this. IP logging is turned off in this community.

Three prompts per comment at maximum, but you can post as many prompts as you like! As they say: the more the merrier! Multiple fills for the same prompt are also very welcome. You can fill your own prompts too if you wish!

Show respect to your fellow writers regardless of what they choose to write. Don't be an asshole. No kink shaming, no ship/character bashing. Such comments will be deleted. There is a chance you will come across something that you don't like, or something that squicks you out. Just scroll onwards.

If your fill contains common triggers (Underage, noncon, graphic violence, etc), please warn in advance alongside the fill.

Feel free to do already prompts from the previous round for this too if you'd like. There will be a comment below where you can link to your fill, regardless of the prompt being from this round or the first one.

Harassment will not be tolerated. Bigotry and hatespeech of any kind will not be tolerated.

Use the following format: "Fandom: Ship or Character(s) - Prompt"
Examples: Any: Any/Any - Battle
Kamen Rider Blade: Kenzaki/Hajime - Fate
Avataro Sentai Donbrothers: Haruka & Shinichi - Comedy of errors
Crossover prompt example: Kamen Rider OOO + Kamen Rider Gotchard: Eiji, Hotaro - Alchemy

Reply to the comment with the prompt you plan to fill and either put it in the comment, or link to where you've posted the fill.

The next round of the Tokusatsu Ficathon is around the corner!

The time frame for the next prompting round has been decided, and it will be from March 1st to May 31st. Get any potential prompts you wanna post ready in the meantime! Or look at past prompts from the first round to see what catches your eye to fill. Or do both! Details and rules will come when the prompting period begins.

Looking forward to seeing people there. :D

Next round coming in early 2025!

The first round for this event was hosted on my journal, but future rounds will be hosted here!

Timeframe, rules and more information to come. Though you can see the first ficathon round post and the rules for it right here. I will tweak a couple things for the next round, such as IP addresses no longer being logged since this will be hosted on a community journal now instead of my personal one, but the rules will remain mostly the same. (18+ Regardless of what you will write, no content restrictions, no harrasment and bigotry, warning for common triggers, etc.)

You can also see a roundup of the 18 fills made during the first round right here. You can still fill prompts there on the first round's post if interested! I'd love to see people use the many prompts left there for people to write with.

Looking forward to seeing you all in early 2025 for the next round and the ones to come after!
